Arina Sokolova is a German Open Champion in Latin, U.S. Professional Latin Rising Star Champion, and U.S. Professional American Smooth Bronze Medalist. She is a winner and finalist at all major U.S. competitions in both International Latin and American Smooth, and a finalist at the European Championship in Latin.

Born in Moscow, Russia, Arina brings over 21 years of international dance experience, beginning competitive International Ballroom and Latin at the age of seven. After moving to the U.S. in 2020, she transitioned into American Smooth and proudly represented the U.S. at the Professional American Smooth World Championship.

Trained by world-renowned ballroom coaches and ballet masters, including a soloist from the Bolshoi Theatre, Arina’s background also includes Flamenco training at a leading Miami studio and acting studies under a top New York City theater director.

As of January 2025, she has paused her competitive career to focus on creative dance projects, including headlining solo performances and choreographing group shows for major events. Burn the Floor is a place where Arina can fully express herself.
